According to the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, every limited company incorporated in Hong Kong must need the statutory audit once a year.

According to company law, the annual accounting report of Hong Kong, a limited company, must be audited by the accountant who has the practicing certificate. This accountant must have professional qualifications and be recognized by the relevant laws. The annual audit fee for investment property companies and holding companies is HKD$7,000; if the total yearly turnover is HKD$700 million or above, the cost is negotiated separately.
